The big day may have come and gone, but keep in touch as we’re already planning the next ZenCloud Festival!
The ZenCloud Festival is a chance for you and your family to try a wide range of stress-busting wellness techniques to discover what works for you. From Yoga and Reflexology to Gong Baths and African Drumming, you can try as many ideas as you like, all for the cost of a single ticket. You’ll learn wellness tools that you can use straight away at home to help you relax, calm your thoughts, and get a better night’s sleep.
The simple answer is… everyone!
The ZenCloud Festival is all about having a go! We're all unique and no one size fits all. Try new things, rediscover old things, and find what wellness tools might work for you as an individual. We have activities on offer for everyone from one to 103, and we believe that it’s never too early, or too late, to learn emotional wellbeing techniques.
Most of our activities are wheelchair accessible, and we have sensory regulation tents available for anyone who might need them. If you're disabled and need a carer to access the festival, you can book a free carer's ticket.
HOTEL RUDYARD
LAKE ROAD, RUDYARD, LEEK ST13 8RN
The festival is set across the grounds of Hotel Rudyard. Check in at our welcome point in the Ballroom, where you can enjoy some mindful crafts and music. Then head to the Mini Zen Zone for the little ones, the Wellness Zone for a range of holistic wellness activities, and the Wild Side for Forest School and Willow Art.
As long as you keep your wristband, you can wander down to Rudyard Lake, enjoy the views, have a meal in the restaurant, or a quiet moment by the water. Then you can rejoin the festival at any time.
Saturday 15th June, from 10am until 4pm.
Tickets can be pre-booked to guarantee entry, or you can pay on the day. During busier times we may need to limit entry to ticket holders only.
Right next to the hotel! If you fancy a walk, you can park or get public transport to Leek and follow the track that takes you all the way to the lake.
We love dogs, and so does Hotel Rudyard! Dogs are welcome in the hotel coffee shop. In the festival areas, we would ask that they always stay on a lead, and any little presents must be cleaned up immediately. We would also ask that they’re not taken into the open play area or in marquees where sessions are taking place – no one wants to lie next to a furry bum or on a patch of wee, no matter how much they love animals!
We’re so excited to welcome you to the ZenCloud Festival! We hope when it's time to go home, you'll leave full of ideas, new wellbeing skills, and maybe even with a new-found hobby!
ZenCloud Festival friend, Sarah Tombs, is Psychotherapist, Confidence Coach, and Workplace Wellbeing Consultant.
She has put together a fantastic guide on how to ‘stress less’ and find your own practical coping tools.
The guide is full of useful information on how to understand and identify stress, unpack unhelpful thoughts, and strategies for building your own stress toolkit.
With FREE links to a masterclass to help you pause your racing mind, and a beautiful guided meditation, this guide is the perfect accompaniment to the techniques you’ll learn at the ZenCloud Festival.
Neurodiversity shouldn’t cause anyone to be excluded from enjoying events…
…and yet, many neurodivergent people will either avoid events, or attend but have to regulate in unpleasant places, such as portaloos.
Nelly’s Nest is changing that!
Nelly’s Nest will be at the ZenCloud Festival, providing sensory tents and resources. These tents provide a safe, calming environment for anyone experiencing sensory overload to regulate their emotions for as long as they need, before returning to enjoy the festival.
Run by a trained therapeutic team, Nelly’s Nest also provides a huge variety of sensory resources, from body socks to resistance bands, available for use independently or with support of the therapy team.
With adult and mini ZenFest Friends welcome to use the sensory regulation tents, we hope that no-one on the neurodiversity spectrum feels excluded from enjoying our wonderful festival!
Madula are bringing their incredible energy and sound to the ZenCloud Festival, where groups of up to 20 people can experience the uplifting power of African drumming.
Madula works alongside the Mama Music School in Uganda, founded in 2019 to provide education, music, and dance, to young people from very disadvantaged backgrounds. The school is also an orphanage, providing many children with a safe place to live and thrive. A recent loss of funding has placed the school in a state of emergency with a very real chance of closing.
The ZenCloud Festival has pledged a proportion of our proceeds to this vital cause. More information about the project and how to help will be available at the festival, or click on the links below.
We love where we live! The Staffordshire Moorlands has so much to offer, with beautiful scenery, a rich history, and fabulous places to eat.
