Rudyard Lake is steeped in history and provides some of the most dramatic scenery to be found in the Staffordshire Moorlands. It made such an impression on John and Alice Kipling that they named their son after it. You can buy tickets for day fishing, hire fishing boats, and enjoy refreshments at the Lake Café near to the dam head.

Wincle Brewery is nestled in a lush valley in the Peak District. They create beer using spring water fresh from the hills for a distinctive, unparalleled taste.

Situated near to Leek, on the edge of the spectacular Peak District National Park, Tittesworth Reservoir offers plenty of activities for those who enjoy the great outdoors.

The gritstone edges and craggy rocks of The Roaches are loved by walkers and climbers. With stunning panoramic views, weathered peaks and heather moorland, The Roaches have sparked imaginations for centuries. Myths and folklore abound, and the dramatic backdrop has been used a filming location.

The Churnet Valley Railway offers a nostalgic steam train ride through Staffordshire's hidden valley, and into the Staffordshire Moorlands on the outskirts of the Peak District.

Lud’s Church is a deep, moss-covered chasm full of myths, legends, and folklore. As you descend its rugged stone steps you will feel like you are entering a fairytale!
